I photograph portraits with a focus on natural, honest and believable expressions.

For me, a good portrait is not about looking perfect, but about recognising the person in the image. I work in a calm and informal way and place great importance on making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Many people do not enjoy being photographed or feel they are not photogenic — I see it as the photographer’s job to make that work.

I am happy to take a little extra time so the situation feels relaxed and the natural expression has room to appear. Simple, honest and without unnecessary staging.

I photograph individuals, artists, employees and businesses, creating portraits for websites, social media, press and marketing.

I am based in Svendborg, Denmark, and take on portrait photography assignments throughout Funen and the rest of Denmark.
